"The art of being happy lies in the power of extracting happiness from common things"
It is official, yesterday I put on my sweatpants and they are way too tight around my little inkies! I am now 4 months pregnant with twins. I will be 17 weeks on Thursday. Please excuse the tired looking face. Not sleeping very well these days! But, my belly is growing fast. I finally had to give up my nice pretty bras and go buy something that does not have an underwire so it won't dig into my skin. Oh the joys of being pregnant you literally have to get a whole new wardrobe! For most preggers out there you are starting to watch your money a bit more. I mean you have a huge cost coming your way. I know Matt and I sure are! Not only do we have 2 babies coming, but we also are in the process of closing on a really cute house. Therefore, I have to really watch what I am spending. I am not going out and buying expensive maty clothing. I have come up with a list of favorite stores and pieces of clothing that won't break the bank and are super cute. I also wanted to give some products that I use on my skin right now that I love! Enjoy!
Old Navy:
They are my #1 go to for maternity clothes. They are inexpensive, cute and have great customer reviews to help you pick out sizing. Plus they have free shipping on anything over$50. You can return to any old navy store. I have ordered a pair of skinny jeans (oxymoron while pregnant) they super cute. They have workout clothing too and sales all the time. I also have two maxi dresses that I am obsessed with they are are so comfy and cute around the bump. It will work great for spring, summer and fall when I am due! I dress it up with cute scarfs, earrings or cardigans!

Target:
Yep gotta love target! They have a good selection of Maternity clothing by Liz Lange. Most of the tops are around $25 or under. I have not bought any pants from there but love the tops! Plus everyone has a target near them. You can also order online. http://www.target.com/p/liz-lange-for-target-maternity-3-4-sleeve-cut-out-top-assorted-colors/-/A-14207389#?lnk=sc_qi_detaillink

GAP:
So I know Gap owns Old Navy, the reason I have them on my number 3 on my list is that they are tad more expensive. However, I love some of the basic T-Shirts they have. All preggeres need basic T-Shirts. I will probably wear them after I have the Twinkies. These are soooooooooooooooo soft!

Kohls:
So they really don't have any cute clothes. I am not mentioning them on my list for the maternity clothing. However, there will be a time when you need to hang up your Victoria Secret bras or any bra with an underwire. They started to dig into me and it was so uncomfortable. Please, don't spend a lot of money on new bras at an expensive store. I have found that my boobs change way too fast and you have no idea what size you will be after the baby. So I found these great bras at Kohls. They are under $30 and when you have some Kohls cash to spend they become stupid cheap. They are called Barely there CustomFlex Fit Full Coverage Wire Free Bra. They come in different colors too.

SKIN PRODUCTS:
I have been blessed to have pregnancy acne. The OB said it is due to my raging hormones. I was told it would go away but now I am in my second trimester and I am still having zits pop up! The difficult thing is that you can't use hard core stuff on your skin to get rid of the pimples. No salicylic acid on your skin when pregnant. My OB told me to stay a way from it. So that leads to using more natural products. The first on my list is:
PURPOSE:
It is hypoallergenic, non irritating, 100% oil free, won't clog pores or leave residue and it is really inexpensive. I love it! You can buy it at any CVS, Walgreens, Target or Walmart. They also have a moisturizer too. It is around $7.00.

Burt's Bees:
Gotta love Burt's Bees! All Burt's Bee products are all natural. I use the cranberry pomegranate sugar scrub too for my body! Love Love Love and it smells amazing. I bought it offline from Burt's Bees website. I also love the belly butter called Mamma Bee Belly Butter! It is $13 and last for awhile! It helps keep your belly feeling smooth and help with any stretch marks. So far I don't have any! Knock on wood!
