"now that you don't have to be perfect, you can be good"
Well we are getting close! I am so ready to have these kids. These past few days have been just awful. I am exhausted, having contractions, and the worst thing is that I have developed a rash called PUPPS (not like a sweet and cute little Puppy). This rash is nasty! It is rash that can develop in the third trimester in women carrying multiples. It starts on the belly and spreads everywhere except the face! It looks just like hives and poison ivy and burns. I just cry because it hurts so bad. I went to the doctor they had to give me a topical steroid to put on the rash. It has helped a bit, but what really helps is good old fashion oatmeal baths and baby powder on it. The only cure for the rash is delivery. So I want these kids to come out soon! Good thing is the rash does not cause any long term affects to myself or the babies it is just super painful!
Any who, on a happy note we finished the nursery and I wanted to share some pictures!!
Some Stats:
Gestation: 36 weeks
Weight Gain: 49 lbs
Stretch Marks: Red with the PUPPS Rash all over (tear)
Cravings: Bananas, Orange Juice, Salad
Ok now some pictures of the Nursery!
The colors are a light turquoise and lavender. We wanted it to be a very soft and soothing space. The room color is Nature's Reflection by Behr from Home Depot.

Here is my favorite part of the nursery! It is an old mirrored shadow box that was Matt's grandmother's. It was originally all gold and Matt's mom repainted it white for me. It is so beautiful!
The lamp and the teal frame are from Hobby Lobby. I placed the baby shower invite inside the frame. The purple candle sticks I got years ago at an antique store and they are just perfect in the nursery. The little photo is a picture of my sister and I that my grandma gave me. I thought it would be cute to keep a sister picture in the room. I found the purple mason jar at the grocery store it is actually a water bottle and I just took off the lid and added some gerber daisy flowers.
Below is a picture of both the cribs. The room is really long and narrow so it can be difficult to take pictures. Matt made the frames that are hanging over the cribs. We found the white frames at Hobby lobby and used a foam board with the extra fabric from the bedskirts to cover the inside. We will put in the first letter of the babies names in the frames a bit later.

So there you have it!
