"Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can"
Sooo.... I am rather large! I am about the size as a women who is 6 months pregnant with one baby. I am almost 19 weeks. I am super tired still and had found out that I am having reflux. I was having random bouts of vomiting after eating certain meals and could not figure out why. I went to the doctor for a routine visit and asked her about it. She told me that I am having reflux. I was surprised to hear that because I am not having any burning sensation or lots of burping.
So what is reflux? It is when the stomach acid doesn't stay put in your tummy and creeps into your esophagus. It happens due to the hormone progesterone (which is a main hormone in pregnancy) which can slow digestive tract. Hormones combined with two babies the size of mangos pushing on my tummy is causing the sphincter that helps stop that acid from going into the esophagus gets weak and causes me to vomit. The cure is to eat smaller more frequent meals. I have also found that walking or keeping my head elevate after eating helps.
Even though I have been having reflux and not feeling well at times. I still try to workout. With our recent move to Columbus Ohio, I am really trying to cut cost until we close on this house. I have not joined a gym yet. Instead I have been doing some workouts that I found on YouTube that I really enjoy and thought I would share. There 4 videos in total. Three of them require no equipment and one of them you will need some small hand weights. They are all around 10 mins long. It is important to listen to you your body while doing exercise while pregnant. If your heart rate gets too high, or you feel dizzy or nauseous stop and rest!

The Heidi Klum Workout!
This is good on those days you feel you are having more energy. Make sure you watch your heart rate at all times. This workout does need some small hand weights. Enjoy.
