About Us:
Hi.
I am Cat.
I am married to Matt.
And we have TWINS!
The reason I wanted to start a blog was to give an uncensored, honest, practical account of pregnancy, kids, and being a mom of multiples and all other matters of life. I am nurse and therefore the "go to girl" for medical questions for my friends about all health matters from irregular periods to grandma's arthritis. I am by no means an expert on all topics of health. However, I do have a pretty strong background in most topics regarding women and kiddos! I am a pediatric nurse by trade. I am NICU nurse (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit the place that wee little ones go when they are born too early.) I have also worked as a pediatric nurse case manager and in the women's health clinics for the local government. I have heard and seen a lot of things in my years as a nurse. Now as a mommy of twins I am entering a new world of Mammahood. I hope to give some tips for my fellow MoM (Moms of multiples). The journey from 0-2 kids in a 9 month period was truly and eye opening experience. There are a lot of things not talked about or explained on the journey. Therefore, I will give an account of our adventure. I hope that my dear friends and family will find any tidbits I discover along the way helpful! I hope to be an open book.
Matt is my husband. He is truly my better half. Matt is my calming force. He brings a different perspective to this journey we are experiencing. He is always rational when I am in full-fledged-freak out mode. Matt is a structural engineer so he approaches many things in life from a rational and analytical mindset which is a MUST during pregnancy and parenting. Whenever I am unsure of things he always knows the right thing to say. He has been nothing but supportive and has urged me to start blogging. He told me "people are going to want to hear about this." So here we go!
